Burden of Under-Nutrition amongst Adolescents in Uyo Urban Community, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria

This study investigates the burden of under-nutrition amongst adolescents in Uyo Urban community Akwa Ibom state, using standard methods and conducted between June 2017 May 2019 aged 10-18 years secondary schools by measuring weight, height, as well determination BMI Z-scores height children. Data obtained revealed that 167(9.8%) total respondents were stunted while 219(12.9%) wasted. 101(60.8%) males 66(39.8%) females There was a significant association age, sex (p=0.007).This showed high prevalence stunting wasting adolescent Uyo.
